We love when we find an organization that supports the local community and the artists and performers in it. In mid July a new independent arts organization debuted in Orlando called RAW: natural born artists, bringing to our fair city a unique platform to offer up Orlando’s budding talent a place to showcase their hard work and passion.
The vision of a young fashion designer struggling to get noticed in the big city of Los Angeles, RAW was born and has now debuted in 54 cities across the United States. In each of these cities, local artistic talent in film, fashion, music, visual art, hair & makeup artistry, and performance arts are hand picked by RAW directors, to come together in one HUGE monthly showcase, allowing them a voice in their community.
On Thursday, August 9th, RAW’s second Orlando showcase event will be held at The Abbey. Additional details on the event are below. Hope to see you there!
