Orlando Brunch: Keke’s Breakfast Cafe

By in Cuisine on October 13, 2010

After our five mile race this past Sunday, we had the perfect excuse to indulge ourselves with a delicious brunch! We made our way over to Keke’s breakfast cafe in Winter Park just before noon on a Sunday. We were welcomed by a 20 minute wait. However, once we were seated the service was speedy! The breakfast and lunch options were extensive including pancakes, waffles, french toast, a huge variety of omelets and a bunch of ways to customize your meals. The breakfast options ranged from about $7 to $10 a plate. The food was exceptional! Yes we were particularly starving after running 5 miles, but I can honestly say that the food tasted even better than it looks! The whipped cream was homemade and the home fries were absolutely fresh and amazing!

The ambiance was lacking just a bit. The decor is very simplistic. If there was music playing it was not memorable. There is a lot of space between tables, making it a great place to go with a group of people, because you have your own space to chat it up with your friends without annoying those around you. The area where it’s located makes up for the lack in ambiance. After brunch we strolled over to Park Avenue and enjoyed some coffee while we window shopped. We left full and happy, so Keke’s breakfast cafe must be doing something right!

If you’re looking to have brunch in Orlando, we can recommend Keke’s with confidence.
