We recently learned about Market Colors, a wonderful Orlando based nonprofit organization whose mission it is to provide craftsmen in Africa the opportunity to sell their handmade products around the world. By increasing the customer base for these craftsmen, Market Colors, is giving them the opportunity to earn a sustainable income to support their families and live healthier lives.

This Sunday, September 9th, Market Colors will be holding their product launch and benefit show in support of the organization. This event will be the first time people will be able to see, touch, and buy Market Color’s products, which include purses, wallets, jewelry, scarves, and more. All of the products are handmade in Malawi and Kenya, and range in cost from $5-$50.

While the above mentioned cause may be enough to get some of you to come out for an evening of fun, there’s also an added bonus. The event is being held at  Redlight Redlight’s new location in the Audubon District. You can check out a sneak peak of the space from when it was undergoing renovations on Redlight Redlight’s Facebook Page . The event is open to all ages and the evening will include performances by several well-known Orlando bands, food trucks with food for purchase and of course lots of fun!

Check out all the specific deets on the event below and a short video further explaining Market Color’s efforts in Africa.
