Remember in January 2011 when I posted of my adventures at the San Diego Zoo? Well, we made the journey again this year, but rather than the zoo, my destination was the Yoga Journal Conference. I spent two glorious days practicing with super yogis like David Swenson, Dharma Mittra and Kathryn Budig. I came back armed with lots of information about everything from yoga for stress relief to handstanding.
We made it to Olde Town, explored the Tide Pools and tried to spot some seals (all we really go to see were a few bobbing heads trying to steer clear of the humans). This time around, I took a liking to the drought-tolerant wonderland that is San Diego. Succulents and cacti are taking over, blooming like crazy. It never rarely rains in San Diego, so in an effort to conserve water the city plants [almost exclusively] drought tolerant plants and San Diego residents follow suit. I loved the look and feel so much that I came home and planted my own little San-Diego- inspired garden in my solarium.
Our last two trips to San Diego have been quite the whirlwind so while I’m not quite prepared to give you the list of must see attractions (that’s something that’s best left to my parents who live there), I leave you with sweet memories from our most recent trip.

Your post just made me badly missed my outdoor activities! I used to go Yoga regularly before, it's really a nice and healthy activity with lots of benefits. Well, with a loaded schedule everyday I can 't even get the chance to go yoga or do some of the activities I used to do before. I feel so out of shape not, and I hate it, I really need to go back to shape.
