If you’ve driven past New York Ave in Winter Park in the last few months you’ve probably noticed a new restaurant has moved into the area. It’s one of our favorites, Ethos Vegan Kitchen. Located for years on Orange Ave near downtown, Ethos has now moved shop over to one of our favorite cities in Central Florida.
I stopped by a few weeks ago with the hubby for brunch and am happy to report that even though Ethos’ new diggs and service model have changed up a bit the food is still just as good as its always been.
We ordered our usual breakfast burrito and our tummies were absolutely delighted! There is no better brunch in my opinion! The restaurant is now a full service spot rather than the fast-casual atmosphere they used to have where customers ordered at the counter. I think the change was a smart decision and one we much preferred as there were many times in the past when we’d go for brunch and one persons meal would come up 5-10 minutes before anyone else’s. We are never in a rush during Sunday brunch so this was never a huge issue for us but this new model definitely offers up better service.
The new space is about twice the size of their old spot and now has a fabulous bar serving beer and wine. The vibe is now more industrial with concrete floors, gray walls and exposed ceilings and windows.
