Chocolate and Charm at Winter Garden’s Sweet Traditions Bakery

Pastries and cookies and bread, oh my! Laura and I found that and more when we recently made an unexpected stop by Sweet Traditions Bakery and Cafe, a great little French bakery located in picturesque downtown Winter Garden.

We had just finished up a tasty meal at Bistro 24, also located in downtown Winter Garden, when Laura and I felt a major chocolate craving coming on. Lucky for us Sweet Traditions was right nearby and was the perfect relief. We got a few truffles, a cappuccino cup and we even threw in a vanilla napoleon because it just looked to good to pass up. All of it was delicious and there were so many more we wanted to try but a girls gotta watch her waist line, especially when beach season fast approaching!

I also really liked their charming little outside eating area. The building’s brick facade and cute little planters with fresh flowers create that quaint country feel. The setting is the perfect place to relax on a lazy Sunday and try a made from scratch breakfast or lunch. The cafe’s menu provides a variety of crepes, quiche, omelets, melts, salads and sandwiches. Although we didn’t yet get a chance to try them ourselves it all just sounds fab and with an owner who is an accomplished pastry chef and baker straight from Paris I can’t see how you could go wrong.

Take a peek at our delectable photo gallery and then head over to Sweet Traditions for a taste of the real deal!
