It’s hard to believe that it was a whole year ago that when we last posted about Orlando’s participation in the fight against MS. Check out last year’s post for the details on what MS is and how we are helping fight it right here in Central Florida.
If you’re not up for biking 150 miles, but want to show your support, you have some great options. Why not head out to the absolutely beautiful Bok Tower Gardens to help kick off the event or have a cocktail at the Caribe Royal Resort here in Orlando and cheer on the cyclists? Just a thought! After all, spreading cheer and enjoying a beautiful park or a delicious cocktail seems like a win-win situation!
Here are the details on the event:
Join the National MS Society, Mid Florida Chapter for their annual two-day 150 mile Bike MS Citrus Tour. The ride begins April 21 at Bok Tower Gardens in Lake Wales and travels through Central Florida to the Caribe Royale Resort in Orlando. On April 22, the route reverses. Course options include 50, 75 and 100 mile routes. The tour is open to both individual and team participants. Registration is 6 a.m. Ride kicks off at 7 a.m.
