4th of July Event: Austin’s Coffee I4 Fest
Austin’s Coffee has been organizing their annual I4 Fest to celebrate 4th of July with the community for the last six years! I don’t know where Laura and I have been, but this year is the first we’ve heard anything about it (our event knowledge was definitely stunted in our pre-blog days, don’t judge). The event is the creation of Austin’s Coffee Co-owner Stephen Moore who wanted to bring the community together “to celebrate the local artists, musicians, & indie coffeehouse on Independence Day.”
Since we’ve been looking for something new to do this year, rather than just sitting at home by the grill, we were thrilled when we found I4 Fest. It definitely sounds like a good time!
The event runs on Monday the 4th from 12pm till 12am, and entry is only $5! The event will feature 26 local bands as well as a handful of local vendors/artists with wonderful items for purchase. There will also be live performance artists, live graffiti with B-Side artists, henna, body and face painters and more. It’s also noted that free draft beer will be available during Alias Punch‘s set!
Check out the band line-up and some of the featured artists below, and be sure to add this event to your 4th of July plans!
